About the role.
This role involves leading and managing projects focused on trade settlements within a fast-paced banking environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of financial markets and settlement processes.
What you will do.
- Lead and manage trade settlement projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline
- Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including business units, IT, and operations teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions
- Monitor project progress, providing regular updates and reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within trade settlement operations
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members
What you bring.
- 10–13 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry
- Proven experience with trade settlements and related processes
- Strong understanding of financial markets and banking operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
