About the role.
This role is based in Mumbai and involves leading complex accounting advisory engagements within a high-performance team. You will guide clients through critical regulatory transitions, capital market transactions, and financial reporting challenges. The position requires a strategic mindset to navigate intricate accounting frameworks and deliver high-quality advisory solutions.
What you will do.
- Lead and execute complex GAAP conversion projects to ensure seamless regulatory transitions for clients.
- Provide expert accounting advisory support across IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind AS frameworks.
- Draft technical memos and issue papers to address and resolve complex accounting challenges.
- Manage end-to-end IPO preparedness projects, including the preparation of financial information for public offerings.
- Collaborate with due diligence teams to assess the impact of IFRS and US GAAP on cross-border transactions.
- Develop and contribute to thought leadership publications regarding evolving accounting standards.
- Mentor and lead engagement teams to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
What you bring.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8 to 15 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in managing Indian GAAP and IFRS conversion projects.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards to real-world business scenarios.
- Deep subject matter expertise in Indian GAAP and IFRS reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and technical reporting.
- Additional professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
- Post-graduate degree in accounting or finance is considered a strong asset.
