About the role.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our client's team in Pune. In this hybrid role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex operational needs into functional system specifications. You will play a pivotal role in product configuration, gap analysis, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
What you will do.
- Lead workshops and discussions with business users to capture and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate operational requirements into clear functional use cases and detailed business processes.
- Perform comprehensive gap analysis to identify system enhancements and propose effective solutions.
- Configure product specifications within the application engine to meet specific business objectives.
- Liaise with development and testing teams to ensure accurate implementation of system specifications.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in the creation of robust test plans.
- Analyze data relationships and dependencies to map future system requirements.
- Mentor and train junior consultants and business analysts to foster team growth and technical excellence.
What you bring.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the software or insurance technology sector.
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional use case documentation.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Hands-on experience with product configuration and system specification design.
- Solid understanding of data analysis and process mapping techniques.
- Experience in facilitating UAT and coordinating with cross-functional development teams.
- Excellent mentoring and leadership skills to guide team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
