About the role.
The Executive / Senior Executive - Quality Assurance will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the quality management system across manufacturing operations at the Bharuch site. The role covers process quality control, supplier and customer quality, documentation, audits and corrective and preventive actions. The incumbent will work closely with production, R&D and supply chain teams to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.
What you will do.
- Implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 requirements
- Lead root cause analysis and manage CAPA activities for process and product non-conformities
- Conduct process audits and internal audits, and track closure of findings
- Monitor process quality using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control techniques
- Oversee incoming material inspection and supplier quality performance
- Handle customer complaints, investigations and quality reporting
- Support process validation and product testing activities
- Control quality documentation, records and change management
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives on the shop floor
- Ensure measurement systems are validated through Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
What you bring.
- Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Science or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred
- Relevant experience in quality assurance within a chemical or process manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of QMS, CAPA, root cause analysis and process audit methodologies
- Familiarity with SPC, MSA and statistical quality control tools
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification or Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage
- CQE or IATF 16949 awareness is desirable
- Understanding of battery materials manufacturing processes is a plus
- Strong documentation, reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to work on-site at Bharuch with a hands-on, process-oriented approach
