About the role.
We are seeking a Lead System Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers to ensure high availability, scalability, and security across enterprise systems. This role is based in Chennai and requires a professional dedicated to driving technical excellence and operational stability.
What you will do.
- Architect and manage robust, scalable infrastructure solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Lead and mentor a team of system engineers to ensure project delivery and operational stability.
- Automate routine tasks and deployment processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements.
What you bring.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting (Bash, Python).
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale distributed systems and high-traffic environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CKA.
