About the role.
We are seeking a skilled AEM Back-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side architectures within the Adobe Experience Manager ecosystem. You will focus on Java development, Sling Models, and OSGi services to ensure high-performance delivery across AEM Sites, Assets, and Forms. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate complex third-party APIs and optimize content delivery in a hybrid work environment.
What you will do.
- Develop and maintain custom AEM components, Sling Models, Servlets, and OSGi services.
- Build and manage complex workflows, business logic, and backend services.
- Configure and optimize JCR, Oak indexes, Dispatcher, caching, and content replication.
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and various CRM platforms.
- Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL integrations for seamless data flow.
- Support AEM Managed Services and AEM as a Cloud Service deployments.
- Partner with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Manager deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis to ensure system stability.
- Optimize performance, scalability, security, and overall code quality.
What you bring.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Sling Framework, OSGi, JCR, Maven, and REST APIs.
- Deep understanding of AEM architecture, Dispatcher, content repositories, and package management.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site and multilingual deployments.
- Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service and Adobe Experience Platform is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Adobe Forms, Assets, headless AEM, and GraphQL APIs is a plus.
- Relevant Adobe certifications are considered an advantage.
