About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer to design, build, and optimize modern enterprise-scale data solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, data architecture, and real-time analytics. The ideal candidate will combine strong architectural thinking with effective collaboration to deliver robust and scalable data platforms.
What you will do.
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Medallion Architecture, and Data Mesh solutions.
- Build end-to-end data pipelines using Data Factory in Microsoft Fabric and robust ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Design and implement both batch and real-time data ingestion solutions.
- Work extensively with OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Eventstreams, and KQL Databases.
- Design enterprise-level dimensional, relational, and analytical data models.
- Optimize Spark workloads, PySpark notebooks, SQL queries, and data transformations.
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric with enterprise technologies including Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
- Lead architecture discussions, solution design, and technical design reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level data engineers, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
What you bring.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7–12 years of overall experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms, with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Mandatory active Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-700) or higher certification.
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Platform technologies including Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proven experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets and strong understanding of enterprise data architecture.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Real-Time Analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL/T-SQL.
- Experience with DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD Pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
