About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a dynamic team and facilitate agile development processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding scrum teams, ensuring adherence to agile principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You will play a key part in removing impediments and coaching teams towards higher levels of maturity.
What you will do.
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings
- Coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame
- Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity
What you bring.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, practices, and theory
- Experience with various agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification
