About the role.
We are seeking a seasoned Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) leader to spearhead the risk strategy for our client's portfolio. You will act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, overseeing the end-to-end risk lifecycle to ensure robust compliance and operational integrity. This role is pivotal in driving long-term risk frameworks within a complex, fast-paced financial environment.
What you will do.
- Lead complex teams to develop and execute medium-to-long-term risk strategies that address evolving business challenges.
- Maintain an accurate risk profile for third parties by identifying root causes of control issues and driving effective remediation plans.
- Manage high-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Chief Control Offices.
- Oversee the full TPRM lifecycle, including onboarding, inherent risk assessment, due diligence, continuous monitoring, and exit strategies.
- Foster a proactive risk mindset, ensuring all risks are identified, recorded, and communicated with precision to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous process improvements and manage risk exceptions effectively across the organization.
- Articulate complex risk scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.
What you bring.
- 12–18 years of professional experience in Third-Party Risk Management within the financial services industry.
- Expert-level knowledge of risk frameworks, commercial arrangements, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in strategic leadership, project management, and supplier engagement.
- Strong understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity principles, and industry-specific compliance standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to make sound, detail-oriented judgments under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience in Banking, Insurance, or Technology/BPO sectors is highly preferred.
