About the role.

This role sits within the Valuation Control team, focusing on the development and validation of quantitative models used for derivative pricing and risk assessment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of valuation processes by applying advanced mathematical techniques. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex financial products in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

What you will do.

  • Develop and maintain robust quantitative models for derivative pricing and valuation control.
  • Perform rigorous model validation to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support valuation adjustments and risk reporting.
  • Collaborate with front-office trading desks and risk management teams to address model-related queries.
  • Implement and optimize pricing algorithms using Python and VBA.
  • Monitor market data inputs and assess the impact of model changes on valuation outcomes.
  • Document model methodologies and validation results for internal stakeholders and auditors.

What you bring.

  • 3–5 years of experience in quantitative finance, specifically in model development or validation.
  • Strong understanding of stochastic calculus and its application to derivative pricing.
  • Proficiency in Python and VBA for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of derivative products and valuation control frameworks.
  • Experience with risk models and their integration into financial systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for complex data manipulation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
