About the role.
This role involves executing comprehensive internal audit engagements for non-financial services clients. You will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying control gaps, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and risk management frameworks.
What you will do.
- Execute internal audit and process audit engagements in accordance with established methodologies
- Map and analyze complex business processes, sub-processes, and their interdependencies
- Conduct Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) reviews
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of preventive and detective internal controls
- Perform detailed risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline business operations
- Identify and implement anti-fraud controls to mitigate organizational risk
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings to key stakeholders
What you bring.
- 3–10 years of professional experience in internal audit or process audit
- Strong understanding of internal control concepts and risk assessment frameworks
- Proven expertise in SOX compliance and IFC reviews
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a Work From Office environment in Gurugram
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse client teams
