About the role.
This role is for a skilled Python and Generative AI Engineer to join a dynamic team. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge solutions leveraging Python and AI technologies. The position requires a strong understanding of backend frameworks, microservices, and cloud environments to build robust and scalable applications.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Flask
- Implement and manage microservices and distributed system architectures
- Integrate and manage cloud services, particularly within Azure, including Azure Functions and API Management
- Develop and deploy solutions leveraging Generative AI, including RAG and vector database integrations
- Utilize Python libraries such as Langchain and Langgraph for AI-driven applications
- Ensure high-quality code through testing with Pytest and effective logging practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize application performance and scalability in cloud environments
- Implement and manage API security, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting
What you bring.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Python programming is mandatory
- Proficiency with backend frameworks like FastAPI and Flask
- Experience with microservices and distributed system design principles
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Hands-on experience with Azure functions, Azure API Management, and Azure AI Search
- Experience with Python libraries such as requests, httpx, asyncio, pydantic, dataclasses, sqlalchemy, pandas, numpy, langchain, and langgraph
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, streaming responses, WebSockets, and API security concepts
- Experience with vector database integration and understanding of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
- Proficiency in database integration skills, including SQL, NoSQL, and Python ORM
