About the role.

This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of automated governance solutions for data and AI initiatives. The specialist will be instrumental in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and ethical standards across all data and AI operations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of governance frameworks.

What you will do.

  • Lead the strategy and execution for automating data and AI governance processes
  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks for policy enforcement and compliance monitoring
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and legal teams to integrate governance into AI/ML pipelines
  • Develop and maintain automated tools for data quality, privacy, and security checks
  • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track governance effectiveness and compliance
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in data and AI governance automation across the organization
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data governance, AI ethics, and automation

What you bring.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in data governance, AI governance, or automation engineering
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automated governance solutions
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and AI ethics principles
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data/AI services
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for AI model lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
