About the role.

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and managing key relationships within the masterbatch and plastics segment in the West region. This role involves strategic market development, product risk management, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, leveraging market intelligence to expand the company's footprint.

What you will do.

  • Manage and grow the existing client portfolio within the masterbatch and plastics sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional business targets.
  • Conduct regular market intelligence analysis to identify new business opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Lead negotiations with key stakeholders to secure long-term contracts and favorable terms.
  • Oversee product risk management and ensure alignment with customer quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery and service.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to support team performance and professional development.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain strong professional networks.

What you bring.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management or sales within the polymers, masterbatches, or specialty chemicals industry.
  • Deep understanding of the plastic packaging and plastics manufacturing landscape.
  • Strong negotiation and business management skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
  • Experience in people management and leading high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to work from the office in Mumbai.
