About the role.
This role involves spearheading the delivery of complex technology stacks within the capital markets domain. You will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience for foundational and business data products. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will solve complex technical problems and influence the strategic direction of quality assurance processes.
What you will do.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software functionality and compliance with quality standards.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using advanced frameworks to facilitate early defect detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and support developers in resolution.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Advise senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and strategic alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment and strengthen controls within the testing lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and contribute to the organization's technology communities.
What you bring.
- 14–22 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on global delivery models.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Selenium, and modern UI automation tools.
- Proficiency in API testing, microservices, and test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
- Deep knowledge of Capital Markets and Equity Derivatives, including pricing, trading, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of test automation architecture, TDD/BDD practices, and shift-left testing.
- Highly valued: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, Gatling, AWS, Azure, and AI/ML-driven testing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical and business-aligned problems.
