About the role.
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and managing key relationships within the masterbatch and plastics sector in Mumbai. This role involves executing strategic sales initiatives, providing market intelligence, and ensuring the effective delivery of specialty chemical solutions to a diverse client base. You will act as a primary point of contact, balancing commercial objectives with product risk management to maintain market leadership.
What you will do.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the masterbatch and plastic packaging segments.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Conduct regular market intelligence analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive threats.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage product risk and ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customers to enhance value proposition.
- Oversee people management responsibilities to ensure high performance within the sales team.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and business management KPIs.

- Strong understanding of the plastic packaging market and its technical requirements.
- Demonstrated success in sales, marketing, and business development.
