About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Applied AI Engineer to join a high-impact team in Bengaluru. In this hybrid role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced Generative AI applications and autonomous agents, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and enterprise-grade software solutions.
What you will do.
- Architect and build scalable Generative AI applications and intelligent agents.
- Develop and optimize orchestration workflows using frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain.
- Implement RAG pipelines, vector databases, and semantic search capabilities to enhance AI performance.
- Integrate AI solutions with complex enterprise systems, data platforms, and external APIs.
- Build and maintain POCs and reference implementations for emerging AI use cases.
- Ensure AI quality, safety, and reliability through automated testing and evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business requirements.
- Maintain adherence to Responsible AI, governance, and data security standards.
What you bring.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 1-3 years specifically in GenAI.
- Strong proficiency in Python and building enterprise-grade APIs.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Expertise in AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI/Claude SDKs.
- Familiarity with MCP, AI gateways, and tool-calling frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) for hosting AI workloads.
- Proficiency in modern engineering practices including CI/CD, containers, and GitHub.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
