About the role.
This role involves leading the technical delivery and integration of enterprise-grade digital asset platforms. You will be responsible for connecting these platforms with core banking systems, payment infrastructures, and compliance frameworks. As a senior leader, you will guide technical direction, mentor team members, and ensure the development of secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions.
What you will do.
- Design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Java-based microservices.
- Lead the integration of digital asset platforms with core banking, payment, and data systems.
- Define technical strategy, set requirements, and make recommendations for architectural improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and designers to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Mentor and coach team members, promoting a culture of code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Manage and mitigate technical risks through rigorous assessment, control, and governance practices.
- Develop and deploy secure smart contracts with a focus on lifecycle management and security.
- Advise senior stakeholders on functional and cross-functional impacts of technology decisions.
What you bring.
- Strong experience leading full-stack engineering delivery with hands-on expertise in Java and microservices.
- Deep knowledge of DLT platforms, blockchain architecture, and Ethereum-based networks.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts using Solidity.
- Expertise in building end-to-end digital asset or tokenization platforms, including wallet and custody integration.
- Solid understanding of API design, distributed architectures, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with payment systems and processing, including domestic and international payment flows.
- Ability to lead multi-year assignments and guide technical direction for complex systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems through research and interpretative thinking.
