About the role.

The Senior Manager - HR (Plant) will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions at the manufacturing site in Surat. This role focuses on driving plant-level HR operations, including talent management, employee relations, statutory compliance, and fostering a productive work culture. You will act as a strategic partner to the plant leadership team to ensure organizational goals are met through effective people management.

What you will do.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure 100% statutory compliance with labor laws and industrial regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes.
  • Oversee payroll processing, attendance management, and leave administration.
  • Handle industrial relations and grievance redressal to maintain harmonious shop-floor operations.
  • Implement training and development programs to enhance workforce productivity and skill sets.
  • Manage plant-level administration and facility management services.

What you bring.

  • 10–12 years of experience in HR, specifically within a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale workforce operations and plant-level HR functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll management systems.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
