About the role.
This role is for a skilled and motivated Senior Associate specializing in Data Science and Generative AI. You will be instrumental in designing and deploying advanced AI and machine learning models, driving innovation through generative AI solutions. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI-powered products and solve complex business challenges.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and deploy data science models and generative AI applications across diverse domains.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Build, fine-tune, and optimize large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI frameworks to automate processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Implement machine learning pipelines covering data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Work with engineering and data teams to integrate AI models into scalable production environments using MLOps best practices.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, coordinate with QA teams, and manage stakeholder sign-offs.
- Monitor model performance post-deployment and propose improvements based on feedback and new data insights.
- Drive adoption planning and change management initiatives to ensure business and user engagement with AI-powered solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning to recommend innovative approaches.
What you bring.
- 3-7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles, with hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models.
- Strong expertise in generative AI technologies, including fine-tuning large language models (GPT, LLaMA, Claude) and familiarity with techniques such as LoRA, PEFT, QLoRA.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with NLP/NLU/NLG techniques and advanced text analytics.
- Exposure to MLOps and model lifecycle management best practices.
- Ability to create clear BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria with experience working in Agile teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms and AI services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience coordinating UAT activities and managing stakeholder expectations.
