About the role.
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 5–8 years of experience, strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation frameworks, along with experience in manual testing and exposure to AI-powered testing tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions while leveraging AI technologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality in a hybrid work model.
What you will do.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit, Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
- Execute automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.
- Utilize AI-powered testing tools to improve test case generation, defect prediction, test optimization, and overall testing productivity.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices within Agile/Scrum teams.
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in QA Automation using Java and Selenium.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with TestNG and/or JUnit and automation framework design including POM, Data-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
- Experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Knowledge of AI tools and technologies used in software testing and automation.
- Experience with API testing using Rest Assured and/or Postman.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Git.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
