About the role.
This role sits within a capital markets and accounting advisory services team in Kolkata, where transaction processing supports banking clients across deposits, payments, withdrawals, and loan operations. The position focuses on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely completion of daily processing across shifts. Associate-level candidates will also lead and manage a team of approximately 8-10 transaction processors.
What you will do.
- Oversee or carry out daily banking transaction processing to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely completion across shifts
- Use transaction processing software proficiently across deposits, payments, withdrawals and loan operations
- Lead and manage teams of approximately 8-10 transaction processors (Associate level)
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve processing issues and escalations
- Contribute to automation and process improvements that enhance efficiency
- Prepare reports and documentation on processing activities and team performance
What you bring.
- Graduate or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in reading and writing English
- Proficiency with transaction processing software
- Experience in banking transaction processing covering deposits, payments, withdrawals and loan operations
- Experience of 1-10 years depending on level, with team management exposure for Associate-level roles
- Ability to work across shift timings, including graveyard and evening shifts
- Strong knowledge of banking transaction operations and compliance requirements (nice to have)
- Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives (nice to have)
