About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to join a dynamic team in Pune. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing and developing embedded software for advanced medical devices, ensuring high standards of quality and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect robust solutions and maintain rigorous documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
What you will do.
- Design and develop embedded C software for specialized medical devices.
- Collaborate with systems and cross-functional teams to define software architecture and requirements.
- Implement and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and system-level tests.
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high software quality and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain detailed software documentation in accordance with design controls.
- Support development processes aligned with FDA and ISO/IEC regulatory standards.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of professional experience in firmware development.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ for real-time embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with Nordic nRF52 or similar low-power microcontrollers.
- Solid understanding of BLE and wireless communication protocols.
- Familiarity with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git and project management tools like Jira.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Pune.
