About the role.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a high-impact team focused on front-office technology delivery. You will own the end-to-end delivery of business requirements for FX and Precious Metals trading platforms, bridging the gap between complex trading workflows and technical implementation. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing stakeholder expectations while driving platform enhancements in an Agile environment.
What you will do.
- Own end-to-end business analysis delivery including requirements gathering, functional specification, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Engage directly with FX traders, sales teams, and desk heads to capture front-office workflow and pricing priorities.
- Collaborate with technology leads and architects to translate business needs into accurate platform designs.
- Act as the primary business analyst for Precious Metals onboarding, covering the full trade lifecycle including spot, forward, and lease rates.
- Define target operating models and document transition plans for complex instrument source data and pricing feeds.
- Manage end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test planning, defect management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Produce high-quality documentation such as process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and Agile user stories.
- Identify and manage interdependencies between workstreams to proactively mitigate delivery risks.
What you bring.
- 6+ years of Business Analysis experience within a bank or financial institution with a focus on front-office technology.
- Strong understanding of FX, Interest Rate Curves, and Commodities at the trade-lifecycle level.
- Proven experience in platform build, e-trading, or market data programs using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for independent data validation and analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage traders, technologists, and senior sponsors.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and basic Unix commands.
- Familiarity with pricing systems, market data feeds, and e-trading platforms like RFQ or order management systems.
- Knowledge of Precious Metals market conventions including LBMA fixing and clearing is highly desirable.
