About the role.

We are seeking a skilled Python AWS Data Engineer to join a dynamic team in Bangalore. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines and cloud-native architectures. You will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights while ensuring the scalability and reliability of our data warehousing systems.

What you will do.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Build and optimize cloud-native data solutions using AWS services.
  • Implement efficient data modeling strategies to support complex analytical requirements.
  • Integrate REST APIs to facilitate seamless data flow across systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for data architecture and pipeline configurations.

What you bring.

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in data engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Advanced SQL skills and deep understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Familiarity with data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with REST API integration.
  • Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, PySpark, Airflow, EMR, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
