About the role.
This role sits within the Global Markets Business Management team, focusing on the strategic oversight of financial resources for the Global Rates business. You will play a critical role in optimizing balance sheet consumption, risk-weighted assets, and funding strategies. The position requires a proactive individual who can partner with senior stakeholders to drive efficiency and provide actionable financial insights.
What you will do.
- Drive global financial resources and funding optimization initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze financial resource utilization, including balance sheet consumption and risk-weighted assets.
- Maintain a deep understanding of resource metrics such as Leverage, RWA, NSFR, and UF.
- Develop and maintain return metrics for various financial resources.
- Identify and implement creative opportunities to optimize resource consumption.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to provide recommendations on resource allocation strategies.
- Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards to track allocation accuracy.
- Prepare periodic business summaries and financial metric scorecards for senior management.
- Collaborate proactively with regional COOs and business heads.
What you bring.
- 4+ years of experience in a financial services or capital markets environment.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets products and financial resource management.
- Proficiency in capital calculation methodologies and regulatory metrics like FRTB.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Mumbai.
