About the role.
The Configuration Management Lead will oversee the global strategy and operational integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role involves driving standardization across regions, managing global teams, and ensuring robust governance within an ITIL-based framework. You will act as a key partner to leadership, ensuring that all configuration processes align with global risk and audit requirements.
What you will do.
- Update and enforce CMDB asset governance frameworks and policies to ensure data integrity.
- Drive standardization of configuration management processes across global regions and business divisions.
- Lead and mentor global teams to maintain high standards of service delivery and operational excellence.
- Oversee ServiceNow implementation, enhancements, and UAT for major system releases.
- Manage continuous service improvement initiatives and drive automation to optimize workflows.
- Prepare executive-level MIS reports and track key performance indicators for leadership review.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and manage audit requirements through rigorous risk assessment.
- Partner with regional IT leaders and manage vendor relationships to support organizational objectives.
What you bring.
- 15–18 years of professional experience in IT service management and configuration management.
- Deep expertise in ITIL frameworks and CMDB governance.
- Proven experience in managing global teams and complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow and JIRA for project and process management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Solid understanding of risk assessment, audit compliance, and regulatory standards in a financial services context.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership.
