About the role.

This Associate-level role is within the Risk Management Division, focusing on Counterparty Credit Risk. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, testing, and documentation for regulatory compliance and transformational risk management initiatives. The role involves analyzing complex risk data flows, calculation engines, and reporting processes to identify gaps and architect robust solutions. You will also execute projects in adherence with governance standards, delivering well-defined business outcomes.

What you will do.

  • Manage medium to large projects independently through their lifecycle, preparing comprehensive business analysis documents.
  • Run test management processes for projects, including strategy documentation, UAT management, and test plan creation.
  • Plan project delivery milestones and prepare regular project reports, highlighting risks and mitigation steps.
  • Assist stakeholder businesses with tactical and strategic solution requirements, services, and programs.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Risk Management, Risk Middle Office, and Front Office to maximize project delivery opportunities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and operating model changes.
  • Work with regional counterparts to structure project governance and devise induction frameworks for new resources.
  • Maintain cutting-edge regulatory knowledge and drive continuous improvement through feedback loops and best practice implementation.

What you bring.

  • 2-8 years of relevant experience in the Risk domain, specifically Counterparty Credit Risk.
  • Strong understanding of capital market products and derivatives across various asset classes.
  • Good knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk, including computation of risk measures (PD, LGD, EAD, PFE, EEPE, VaR, RWA) and risk limits management.
  • Skilled in data analysis and understanding data models for risk measure computation.
  • Good understanding of Basel norms, particularly capital requirements for Credit and CVA risks.
  • Ability to operate in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, with experience in the full SDLC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and documentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as MBA, FRM, CFA, or CQF are highly desirable.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Dremio, PowerBI, Alteryx, or Tableau is a plus.
