About the role.
We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our client's team in Gurgaon. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines within the Google Cloud ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and performance, playing a critical role in the organization's data strategy.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Python and PySpark.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow.
- Work extensively with Google BigQuery for data warehousing, transformation, and analytics.
- Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Develop data ingestion and transformation workflows from multiple sources into GCP.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand and meet data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, security, and consistency across all pipelines.
What you bring.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
- Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery.
- Strong SQL skills for complex data manipulation.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
