About the role.
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to lead the design and implementation of high-performance server-side applications. You will play a pivotal role in architecting microservices, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable software within an agile framework.
What you will do.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality.
- Architect microservices-based solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers to foster team growth.
What you bring.
- 8–12 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
- Extensive experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
