About the role.
We are seeking a Senior Associate BI Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building and maintaining robust business intelligence solutions. In this hybrid role based in Pune, you will translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable data insights. You will play a critical role in designing scalable data models and ensuring the integrity of data across the organization.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
- Create and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using industry-standard BI tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Translate business needs into effective technical specifications.
What you bring.
- 5–9 years of experience in Business Intelligence or data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools including Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, specifically dimensional modeling.
- Proven experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop is preferred.
