Our client is a leading global provider of financial services and analytics, supporting institutions with high-end research and technology solutions. They are currently expanding their AI Center of Excellence to drive digital transformation and innovation across their enterprise platforms.
About the role.
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-grade Generative AI capabilities. You will work within a collaborative environment to develop secure, scalable AI agents and RAG pipelines that support critical business functions and virtual assistant ecosystems.
What you will do.
- Develop and deploy Python-based AI services, including prompt workflows, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent systems.
- Configure and integrate Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Microsoft Fabric to support AI initiatives.
- Implement robust APIs, tool integrations, and function-calling mechanisms to enhance agentic capabilities.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines, including CI/CD, automated testing, and evaluation datasets.
- Monitor AI service performance, focusing on latency, reliability, safety, and cost-optimization.
- Ensure all AI solutions adhere to strict security, privacy, and Responsible AI governance standards.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to define reusable engineering patterns and technical standards.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, deployment instructions, and operational runbooks.
What you bring.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with LLM application development.
- Hands-on expertise in Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI agents, and multi-agent systems.
- Deep technical knowledge of the Azure AI ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure API Management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, MCP, and advanced tool/function calling techniques.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of MLOps practices and production-grade AI deployment.
