About the role.
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team in Mumbai to focus on the Life Insurance domain. You will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, specifically driving product configuration and functional specifications for Annuity products. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to influence the development of high-impact insurance solutions.
What you will do.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Lead product configuration efforts to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product configuration changes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to manage expectations effectively.
What you bring.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
- Deep domain expertise in Life Insurance, with a specific focus on Annuity products.
- Proven track record in product configuration within enterprise-level insurance platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to modern insurance policy administration systems is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP or LOMA are preferred.
