About the role.

What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications for financial data processing.
- Implement and optimize complex pricing models to support investment banking operations.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless system integration.
- Utilize PySpark for large-scale data manipulation and analysis.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering.
- Optimize application performance and data structures for efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Automate routine tasks and system processes using Bash scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
What you bring.
- 4–6 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python.
- Strong proficiency in Core Python, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Solid understanding of data structures and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and Bash scripting.
- Domain knowledge in Investment Banking or financial services is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
