About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a high-impact team focused on building and supporting critical applications for Risk Management and P&L reporting. You will work at the intersection of technology and finance, developing solutions that drive accurate valuation and risk assessment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with global business and technology stakeholders.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based applications for Risk and P&L reporting.
- Build and optimize REST APIs to support seamless data integration across financial platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform deep-dive debugging and troubleshooting to resolve complex system issues.
- Implement and refine algorithms for Pricing, Valuation, and P&L Attribution.
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
- Work independently to deliver project milestones while maintaining clear communication with global teams.
What you bring.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts including Risk, P&L calculations, Pricing, Valuation, VaR, and P&L Attribution.
- Exceptional analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
