About the role.
We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building robust, scalable backend solutions. You will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, leveraging your expertise in object-oriented programming to deliver high-quality applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex systems within the capital markets domain.
What you will do.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from design to delivery.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to build robust and scalable enterprise applications.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment to meet project milestones.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing practices including TDD and BDD.
- Communicate technical progress and complex issues clearly to stakeholders.
What you bring.
- 5–10 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with database technologies and version control systems.
- Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Prior experience in Capital Markets is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
