About the role.
We are seeking a hands-on Azure System Architect and Administrator to join our team in Mumbai. This role is responsible for driving cloud strategy, governance, and the transition of enterprise workloads to Microsoft Azure. You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high standards of scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
What you will do.
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
- Execute seamless workload migrations from on-premises environments to Azure using Azure Migrate and re-platforming strategies.
- Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Administer Azure Entra ID, including RBAC, conditional access policies, and third-party provisioning.
- Manage modern device environments through Intune, including policy deployment and endpoint security.
- Ensure robust security and compliance by utilizing Defender XDR, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Policy.
- Architect and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions such as ExpressRoute and VPN.
- Monitor system performance and manage disaster recovery protocols using Azure Monitor and ASR.
What you bring.
- 6–10 years of total IT infrastructure experience with at least 3–5 years of dedicated hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Azure networking, identity management, and security frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automation and task management.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Deep understanding of Windows 365 Cloud PC and modern endpoint management.
- Preferred certifications include AZ-305, AZ-104, or AZ-500.
- Ability to work from the office in Mumbai on a full-time basis.
