About the role.
This Senior Associate role is for an experienced .NET Developer specializing in legacy application modernization and Azure cloud migration. You will be instrumental in remediating, migrating, testing, and modernizing enterprise applications. The position demands a strong focus on ensuring security, performance, and compatibility with modern Azure services throughout the migration process.
What you will do.
- Analyze, remediate, and modernize applications built on .NET Framework 4.8/4.8.1
- Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET Web Forms, Web APIs, and related Microsoft technologies
- Migrate applications from legacy hosting environments to Azure App Services
- Perform WCF Services remediation, modernization, and migration activities
- Resolve dependency, package, configuration, and compatibility issues during application upgrades
- Implement secure coding practices, secrets remediation, and application security controls
- Work with Azure services such as Key Vault, App Services, Storage, and other cloud-native components
- Conduct Functional, Integration, Smoke, and Regression Testing to ensure application stability
- Collaborate with architects, business teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver modernization initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft .NET technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework 4.8/4.8.1 and ASP.NET Web Forms
- Experience developing and consuming Web APIs
- Good understanding of .NET fundamentals, application architecture, session management, and file storage concepts
- Experience working with Azure Cloud Services, including Web Roles and Worker Roles
- Strong knowledge of Azure App Service migrations and compatibility remediation
- Experience with WCF Services remediation and migration
- Understanding of dependency management, package upgrades, and configuration remediation
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and secrets management using Azure Key Vault
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
