About the role.
We are looking for a skilled OBIEE Developer to join our team in Mumbai. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications while ensuring optimal performance of the BI environment.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE 12c dashboards, reports, and analytics using Answers, Interactive Dashboards, and BI Publisher.
- Build and optimize RPD metadata layers including physical, business model, and presentation layers.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects within Oracle Database environments.
- Perform OBIEE administration tasks including user management, security configuration, and performance tuning.
- Implement row-level, object-level, and data-level security protocols.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform ETL operations and data integration from multiple source systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database performance issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.
- Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
What you bring.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with OBIEE 12c, including RPD development, Answers, Dashboards, and BI Publisher.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Expertise in OBIEE administration, including security, cache, and system configuration.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema concepts.
- Familiarity with OBIEE architecture and LDAP/Active Directory integration.
- Basic knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, ODI, or SSIS.
- Exposure to modern BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation.
- Proven ability to work within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
