About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex General Insurance and core policy administration system implementations. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale digital transformation projects within a fast-paced environment.
What you will do.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of insurance technology projects from requirements gathering through Go-Live and post-production stabilization.
- Manage projects involving core policy administration systems, digital transformation, and API-driven modernization initiatives.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements while maintaining detailed project plans and RAID logs.
- Track project progress against budget and quality parameters, identifying risks and driving timely resolution.
- Act as the primary delivery point of contact for customers and senior stakeholders, conducting regular governance and steering committee meetings.
- Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams including business analysts, architects, and developers.
- Ensure effective change management and control of project scope throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define scalable implementation approaches using APIs and cloud-native technologies.
What you bring.
- 15–18 years of overall experience in IT or insurance technology.
- Minimum 5+ years of dedicated project management experience in insurance technology implementations.
- Strong expertise in the General Insurance domain and end-to-end policy lifecycle.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in implementing or integrating Core Policy Administration Systems.
- Proven track record of managing large enterprise insurance implementation projects.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills with experience in cross-functional team leadership.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and project governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
