About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Grafana Dashboard Developer to join a global capacity management team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a new telemetry and observability framework to support critical governance and monitoring requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact visualization projects that drive data-driven decision-making.
What you will do.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive replacement framework using Grafana Dashboards
- Collaborate with global capacity management teams to align with governance policies and procedures
- Design and build intuitive capacity dashboard visualization structures
- Implement automated solutions for archiving dashboards to meet audit requirements
- Optimize dashboard performance to reduce query costs and resolve latency issues
- Develop scripts to automate dashboard JSON generation and data source querying
- Create and maintain detailed solution documentation for knowledge sharing
- Work closely with internal telemetry and observability teams to integrate new frameworks
What you bring.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in dashboard development and observability
- Deep expertise in Grafana dashboard design, panels, variables, and permission management
- Strong proficiency in Prometheus and writing complex PromQL queries
- Experience with Grafana performance tuning and troubleshooting high-load issues
- Proficiency in Python for task automation and interacting with Grafana HTTP APIs
- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Grafana Alloy, or Grafana Mimir is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
