About the role.
We are seeking an experienced BI Architect to design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions. This role involves leading the architecture and strategy for enterprise-scale BI, ensuring high-performance data solutions, and establishing strong governance frameworks. You will play a crucial part in defining reporting standards, optimizing data models, and mentoring BI teams.
What you will do.
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions, including dimensional data models and enterprise semantic layers.
- Define KPIs, reporting standards, data taxonomy, and dashboard design frameworks.
- Evaluate and integrate modern BI tools, cloud technologies, and analytics trends for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Develop robust dimensional models using Fact & Dimension tables and Star Schema methodologies.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to align ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse platforms.
- Identify and resolve report and dashboard performance issues, optimizing SQL queries, data models, and DAX calculations.
- Implement enterprise-grade security frameworks, including RLS, OLS, and RBAC.
- Establish data governance policies, metadata management, and business glossaries.
- Provide technical and architectural leadership to BI teams and mentor developers on best practices.
- Manage Power BI Service administration, capacity planning, and licensing.
What you bring.
- 8 to 12 years of overall experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting solutions.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and architecture.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale BI solutions, semantic models, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and team mentoring experience.
- Expertise in dimensional data modeling, Fact & Dimension tables, and Star Schema methodologies.
- Proficiency in optimizing SQL queries, data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations.
- Experience with data refresh mechanisms, including incremental refresh, Direct Query, and composite models.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade security frameworks like RLS, OLS, and RBAC.
- Familiarity with data governance policies, metadata management, and business glossaries.
