About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our client's team, focusing on IT Operations Management (ITOM) and CMDB architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing infrastructure discovery solutions while ensuring the accuracy and governance of the CMDB. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex integrations and automation workflows within a hybrid work environment.
What you will do.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, specifically focusing on Service Mapping.
- Customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer workflows.
- Configure and maintain CMDB structure, including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization rules.
- Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub to connect with cloud platforms and monitoring tools.
- Ensure CMDB data accuracy, governance, and compliance through robust data certification processes.
- Implement ACLs and security configurations following least-privilege principles.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Network teams to support architecture design and production troubleshooting.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows to improve efficiency.
What you bring.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules and CMDB architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and advanced ServiceNow scripting.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure environments, including both cloud and on-premise systems.
- Experience with Service Mapping and ITSM integrations.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-Discovery, CIS-Service Mapping, or CIS-Event Management.
- Experience working within Agile or SAFe development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
