About the role.
The Manager, Quality Assurance Audit will lead the quality oversight functions at the Boisar facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes strictly adhere to GMP and regulatory guidelines. You will drive audit readiness, manage internal and vendor audits, and oversee the implementation of robust quality management systems.
What you will do.
- Lead and execute comprehensive internal and vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to WHO-GMP and Schedule M regulatory requirements.
- Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure all SOPs are current and followed.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for quality deviations and non-conformances.
- Oversee the CAPA process to ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Prepare the facility for external regulatory inspections and maintain constant audit readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve process efficiency.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of WHO-GMP, Schedule M, and relevant regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Strong expertise in conducting internal and vendor audits.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA management.
- Excellent understanding of QMS documentation and SOP development.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time, on-site environment in Boisar.
