About the role.

The Associate will play a key role in the firm's corporate practice, handling a wide array of transactional and advisory matters. This position involves working closely with senior partners to provide comprehensive legal support to clients on complex corporate and commercial issues. The successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple workstreams effectively while maintaining the highest standards of legal precision.

What you will do.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and corporate contracts.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investment transactions.
  • Provide advisory services on foreign investment regulations and corporate structuring.
  • Draft formal legal opinions on complex regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Assist in the execution of private equity and venture capital transactions.
  • Support clients in the formation and management of joint ventures.
  • Advise on employment law matters and general corporate compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction management.

What you bring.

  • Degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in corporate and commercial law within a reputable law firm setting.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and legal due diligence processes.
  • Solid understanding of foreign investment advisory and corporate structuring.
  • Experience working on private equity, venture capital, or M&A transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, office-based environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
