About the role.

This role focuses on the validation of advanced AI and machine learning models within a global banking environment. You will ensure that risk models are robust, compliant with regulatory standards, and effectively mitigate potential financial risks.

What you will do.

  • Perform rigorous validation of AI and machine learning models used for risk assessment and financial decision-making.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to evaluate model performance, stability, and accuracy.
  • Document validation findings and provide actionable recommendations to model developers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all model validation processes adhere to internal governance policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate model risks throughout the lifecycle.
  • Monitor model performance post-implementation and conduct periodic reviews to ensure ongoing reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in AI risk management and financial modeling.

What you bring.

  • 4–7 years of professional experience in model validation, risk management, or quantitative analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and model testing.
  • Solid understanding of financial risk management frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
