About the role.
The Global Markets Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the firm adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will be responsible for monitoring trading activities, conducting surveillance, and providing support to the compliance team to mitigate operational and regulatory risks. This role is based in Mumbai and requires a dedicated professional to work from the office.
What you will do.
- Monitor and analyze trading activities to identify potential market abuse or regulatory breaches
- Conduct daily surveillance of communications and trade data
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and internal compliance documentation
- Support the team in investigating alerts generated by compliance monitoring systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and market standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance-related inquiries
- Participate in the implementation of new compliance policies and procedures
What you bring.
- 1–2 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of global markets and financial products
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field
