About the role.
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to spearhead complex software engineering initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, event-driven architectures while leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools. This role requires a strategic mindset to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technical solutions.
What you will do.
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of scalable full-stack applications within a complex enterprise ecosystem.
- Architect and maintain robust microservices and RESTful APIs to support critical banking operations.
- Drive the adoption of event-driven architectures using Kafka and message queuing systems.
- Oversee the implementation of DevSecOps practices, ensuring high standards of software quality and security.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote the use of AI-driven development tools like GitLab Duo and Claude to accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
- Manage database performance and optimization across both SQL and NoSQL environments.
What you bring.
- 14–20 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven design.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies including Oracle and MongoDB.
- Strong background in DevSecOps tools such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitLab, and SonarQube.
- Proven experience with event-streaming platforms like Kafka.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in Object-Oriented Design and Data Structures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in a hybrid work environment.
