About the role.
This role is for a skilled and motivated Senior Associate specializing in Business Analysis, with a focus on aviation operations. You will be instrumental in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, engaging with stakeholders across various aviation-related functions. The position requires ensuring the delivery of effective solutions aligned with business needs, collaborating closely with technical teams and business users to bridge the gap between business goals and technology implementations within airport and aviation ecosystems.
What you will do.
- Engage with stakeholders across Aero Operations, Non-Aero Business, Cargo, and Ground Handling domains to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and workflows for development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and reviews with business and technical teams to validate requirements and ensure shared understanding.
- Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to track requirement implementation and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities including test case reviews and defect management.
- Support change management initiatives and adoption planning to drive solution acceptance among business users.
- Analyze existing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or enhancement.
- Provide domain expertise and insights to influence product design and solution architecture tailored to airport and aviation business needs.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and leadership teams highlighting project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
What you bring.
- 4-8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with domain expertise in Aero Operations, Non-Aero Business, Cargo, or Ground Handling.
- Strong skills in requirement elicitation, documentation (BRDs, user stories), process mapping, and stakeholder management.
- Experience facilitating UAT and supporting defect tracking and sign-offs.
- Good understanding of airport operations, aviation business processes, and the regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into effective solution requirements.
- Education qualification: BE, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent with relevant domain experience.
