About the role.
This role involves leading critical projects in internal audit, enterprise risk management, and SOX compliance. You will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, ensuring the reliability of financial reporting, and promoting operational efficiency. The position requires a proactive leader who can manage multi-location teams and interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
What you will do.
- Lead internal audit reviews, enterprise risk assessments, and operational process reviews
- Manage SOX s404 documentation and control testing processes
- Develop and execute audit project plans, interacting with process owners
- Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development
- Draft original work programs appropriate for each assignment
- Present findings and results to senior management and audit committees
- Build strong client relationships and conduct key client meetings
- Oversee project results and quality assurance, supervising multi-location teams
- Develop proposals and solution documents
What you bring.
- 6–10 years of experience in internal and/or external audit, process re-engineering, or risk management
- CA/MBA qualification is required
- Proven experience in managing significant projects
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and handle confidential information discreetly
- Flexibility and integrity in meeting deadlines
